This year was my first year trick-or-treating at home in about two to three years and I had no one to trick-or-treat with. All of my friends were out trick-or-treating with their friends elsewhere and same with my sisters, so I was all alone. My cat didn't even want to go outside with me. So I just went around the block and got 34 pieces of candy, about 10-15 of which I didn't like... so then I passed out candy the rest of the day/night with my dad...

On a happier note, my neighbor around the corner sewed my other neighbor's daughter her Halloween costume, and I didn't know she sewed until today. Whilst trick-or-treating, I happened to come across her house and she [and my other neighbor] were outside and I spoke with her about sewing and she is more than happy to teach me how to sew. All I have to do is give her a call, we'll see when it will be a good day to start, go out and get fabric and work on some patterns and stuff. This made me reeeeally happy it nearly eliminated my lonely Halloween. FINALLY, after five to six years, I will be taught how to sew! I have been looking for places that give sewing lessons and no place does where I live [not even the schools @.@] but to have a neighbor around the corner that sews beautifully that is more than happy to teach me is amazing.
